From the snack station to today.

The history of our Hotel Fe_rnblick Montafon begins as early as in 1922, and over many decades five generations of the Zudrell family have set milestones that have paved the way for the success of today's Hotel Fe_rnblick Montafon. Family ties and tradition have made our Hotel Fernblick Montafon what it is today in just under one hundred years: a pleasure and feel-good hotel with personality and great attention to detail. We are proud of these values and the history that have shaped our family and are guaranteed to be passed on for many more decades to come.

2020

Today: The future begins!

Extension of the Wellness Oasis Me(e)hr_blick with two additional floors.
Construction of the Panorama Relax Infinity Pool with many jet and massage areas.
Construction of the new 65 m² event sauna.
Construction of the new Panorama Restaurant with large glass fronts.
Extension of the reception area.
Design of 18 new Panorama rooms.

2017

Hotel Fernblick Montafon - das Teamhotel für die Mitarbeiter

Construction of the "ZASSA" team hotel and team house

During the process, 24 small apartments, 5 apartments for couples, 5 single rooms, as well as 3 single rooms in shared flats were built in order to provide more living space and better quality of life for employees.

2012

Foresight.

Hotel Fernblick Montafon - Aussenansicht im Sommer

Construction of the "Feingefühl Badehus" (today Wellness Oasis Me(e)hr_blick)
Construction of the Panorama Sky Pool, the 20-metre architectural masterpiece on stilts.
Construction of an outdoor Jacuzzi.
Addition of new relax areas

2006

New Awakening.

Ground-breaking ceremony for the new holiday hotel Fe_rnblick: two new houses with 125 beds, new hotel kitchen and new "Restaurant Festgedeck", spacious lounge with cosy Montafoner Stuben parlours, sun terrace, and the panorama bar.
Opening of the 1,000 m² spa & wellness facility.

1986

- Inclusion of the Hotel Fe_rnblick Montafon in the 4-star category.

Beginning.

Opening of the Fe_rnblick snack station on the Bartholomaeberg by "Ehni" Franz Josef and "Ahna" Elisabeth Zudrell, the grandparents of today's hosts Andreas and Karl-Heinz Zudrell. Later, our parents, Karl and Josefine (shown in the picture), took over the snack station and continued to run it.

1965 Expansion of the inn to one of the most modern hotels in the Montafon.
1972 Construction of the first holiday apartments in the region.
1972 Expansion of the hotel comfort, the foundation stone for the future holiday hotel was laid.
